The “tools” listed can be used by instructors to deliver information to, assess progress, communicate with, or receive feedback from their students. Some tools you can download and request a license using the provided request form and others are available to use within our e-Learning lab.

Canvas Studio allows faculty to add powerful media tools to Canvas. This video creation and management tool combines the best features of video sharing, webcam recording, screen recording, and more. Creating and sharing multimedia learning content in Canvas is easier than ever using this intuitive tool. Both faculty and students will be able to share and use rich multimedia content across Canvas courses.
UNC Charlotte has finalized an institutional license contract with Poll Everywhere as its designated and standardized Student Response System (SRS). As a standardized system, Poll Everywhere will be the only supported and recognized polling system at UNC Charlotte. Detailed guides, tutorials and other information have been provided to our faculty, staff, and students on the use of this student response system.
The Universal Design Online content Inspection Tool, or UDOIT (pronounced, “You Do It”) enables faculty to identify accessibility issues in their Canvas course content. You can use it to scan your Canvas course tools and resources for common accessibility issues and use the suggested changes report to address them.
