Faculty are able to record their live face to face courses on Zoom in a classroom on campus. The University has three types of classrooms on campus: simulcast, dual monitor, and standard classrooms.
The Simulcast Classrooms have a ceiling mounted camera in the classroom. The camera can capture the podium, a close-up, or wide shots of the front of the classroom.
Dual Monitor Classroom
Classrooms that have dual monitors give the instructors the capability to record themselves while standing at the podium. The second monitor has a built-in camera that can be turned on and off during class.
In a standard classroom faculty will have the capability to record audio over slides or the document camera located in the classroom.
