The Teaching and Learning Innovation team hosted it’s 2nd Next-Generation Learning with Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools, Professional Certificate this summer. This certificate equips participants to spearhead this transformation in their institutions, become AI-ready and empower their students for a future where technology and education merge seamlessly. This certificate offers a deep dive into practical applications of generative AI, helping them to:
- Enhance teaching methodologies
- Address ethical and social concerns of AI in education
- Foster collaborative educational projects
The two week certification included five synchronous Zoom sessions and a capstone project where participants submitted a pitch on communicating and implementing generative AI tools in their practice. They also produced a video recording of their presentation.
This year, we hosted 68 registrants for the certification and we presented on the following topics.
