Naomi McHugh, M.S.

Naomi is an Instructional Media Designer with the Digital Learning Production Team. She holds a Master of Science in Instructional Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Multimedia and Web Design from UNC Wilmington, both completed through online programs.

Prior to completing her degree, Naomi participated in a Global Learning and Development internship at Krispy Kreme’s headquarters. She was drawn to UNC Charlotte’s Digital Learning Production Team shortly after, inspired by her own positive experience with online learning and her desire to make a meaningful impact on a wide range of students.  

Naomi also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Belmont Abbey College, where she played soccer for four years. She went on to teach elementary English as a Second Language for two years after graduation. She particularly enjoys designing interactive and engaging online eLearning experiences that enhance both teaching and learning.
