Dr. Jennifer Troyer
Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Dr. Jennifer Troyer is the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Dr. Troyer is also Professor of Economics in the Belk College of Business. Since joining the University over 20 years ago, Dr. Troyer has served as Dean of the Belk College, Chair of the Department of Economics, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs, the Interim Dean of the College of Health and Human Services, and Interim Dean of the Belk College of Business. As a Professor, she has taught numerous courses in health economics and econometrics, and she has conducted policy-relevant research on the quality of U.S. nursing homes, the cost-effectiveness of medical interventions, and strategic behavior in the pharmaceutical industry. Her research has earned several awards and been funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Reed Dickson
Director, Online Faculty Experience & Innovation
Pima Community College
Reed Dickson is an educator, writer, designer, and speaker focused on the future of teaching, learning, EdTech, and AI. He is currently the Director of Online Faculty Experience & Innovation at Pima Community College. Previously, Reed directed a K-12 teacher education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. When not teaching or designing faculty development experiences, Reed advises EdTech startups, colleges, and K-12 school districts. Alex Litovchenko
Center for Academic Excellence Tutor, Psychological Science, CHESS
Alex Litovchenko is a psychology and cognitive science undergraduate and a tutor at Charlotte’s Center for Academic Excellence. Alex’s research interests are in how humans perceive and navigate complex environments. He works in the Cognition Interaction Lab (spatial navigation), Neuro-Cognitive Interaction Lab (thought-to-image translation), Learning, Decision Making, & Cognitive Science Lab (prediction of risk-taking behavior using virtual reality), and Cognitive Control & EEG Lab (neural correlates of virtual reality).

Sasha Sembur

Sasha will be graduating from UNC Charlotte in May, with a double major in Political Science and Communication Studies. During her time on campus, she has served as the Student Government Association Chief of Staff, Mock Trial Vice President, and as a Niner Guide. Outside of campus, she has served as a Marian Drane Graham Scholar and a policy intern for the Governor’s Office. Sasha has a passion for research, and looks for new ways to incorporate AI and data science to conduct analyses for her different projects. She hopes to take a gap year and study about educational policy when she attends graduate school
